Account Pending, trial -> official account

I just got a friend into WoW a few days ago, and two days ago he upraded his trial account to an official account online, problem being, he's level 20 already and he's still on a trial account.

When he goes to his status page on the WoW website it says:
Q u o t e:
26-01-10 Upgrade to account Pending


Does this mean he'll have to wait till the 26th till he can play? :s

It can take up to 72 hours, I think. Try dropping the billing team a call if it goes past 3 days since he upgraded the account. :)
